From saving energy, to saving lives Teledyne FLIR is making a real difference in our world.Our products are used in a wide array of situations to rescue people in danger, detect criminals, conserve energy, navigate safely, provide security around the globe, and protect our environment.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.**Job Description****Job Summary:****Technical build, test, and process of Teledyne FLIR infra-red/I2/fusion camera related products in support of all phases of production.****Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**+ Build and understand all technical aspects associated with a variety of surveillance/defense cameras, including assembly, test, prototype support, quality inspection, modifications, continuous improvement, upgrades, and rework.+ Build and test camera products in accordance to manufacturing work instructions, (assembly/test work instructions, build travelers, configuration logs, TDA's, ECO's, etc.).+ Interface with technical team to continuously improve manufacturing quality and efficiency while actively participating in day-to-day manufacturing goals.+ Interface collaboratively with technical team to ensure that manufacturing assemblies and related test processes are documented and performed accurately and efficiently.+ Verify all finished sub-assemblies and system products meet defined manufacturing quality standards.**Job Qualifications:**+ AS degree in electronics or technical/engineering/science discipline with 3+ years hands-on technical experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment+ Technical versatility: electro-mechanical-optical+ Proficiency using test equipment+ Comfortable using computer software for building, testing, data collection, reporting and communicating+ Logical problem analysis skills+ Ability to cross- train others when applicable+ Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts and practices+ Collaboration and teamworkApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.Teledyne FLIR and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
