Materials AnalystDo you enjoy being part of a successful team?Would you like to help shape and implement our Digital Solutions strategic directionRole Summary:As a Materials Planner and Data Scientist you will manage planning and scheduling activities for our services department to drive customer order fulfilments, production efficiency, optimal inventory levels and continuous improvement across key supply chain, business objectives. You will also utilize large data sets to find opportunities for improvement in process, materials and MRP.Partner with the bestAs a Materials Analyst, you will be responsible for:Developing production plans and schedules to support customer order fulfilmentsManaging the product line backlog and the scheduling of new sales ordersInterfacing with Customer Care, Production, Purchasing, and Sourcing to enable production schedules that meet customer requirementsManaging supply strategies, item planning parameters, and stocking levels in SAP to drive customer fulfilment and inventory optimizationIdentifying and implementing projects for continuous improvement in OTD, inventory levels, cycle reductions, and cost reductionContributing supply chain inputs to NPI teams, and preparing ERP systems for successful product launchWorking in conjunction with the product line leader, and driving the team to attain weekly sales and fulfilment objectivesProcessing requests and assignments in support of customer needs or business objectivesMine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product lifecycle, forecasting techniques and plant strategy.Supporting plant leadership with data driven initiates and data driven improvement solution.Utilize ERP to obtain and support areas of opportunitiesDevelop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.To be successful in this role you will:Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited University or CollegeHave 3 years planning experienceHave 3 years managing large data setsHave ability to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyHave strong analytical and organizational skillsExperience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, tableau, MySLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
