Description: Butternut Mountain Farm is a Vermont, family-owned, second-generation company and one of the largest packers of pure maple syrup in the country. We're looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Equipment Washer. If you enjoy a fast-paced, physically active job where cleanliness and organization matter, this might be the perfect fit for you. Starting Rate $20.00/hour.What You'll DoWash and sanitize empty maple syrup barrels to maintain high-quality standards.Operate barrel washing and sweet water recovery equipment (training provided).Keep accurate records of washed barrels and maintain an organized storage area.Move individual barrels using a barrel cart and organize pallets of barrels using forklifts or pallet jacks (forklift experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person).Use basic computer skills to track inventory and ensure everything is properly recorded.Identify and report any food safety concerns related to barrel sanitation.Become part of a rotation with the other production team members in our Maple Syrup packaging area.Requirements: What We're Looking ForA positive attitude and a willingness to learn.Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, physically active job - You can cancel your gym membership!Strong attention to detail - cleanliness and accuracy are key in this role.Forklift experience is a plus, but we will train motivated individuals.Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs and frequently lift 35 lbs at or near head height.Comfort with standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout the entire shift.
