innovation with integrity. Reporting to the Vice President of
Corporate Human Resources, the Head of Talent Acquisition will lead
a team and deliver comprehensive recruitment strategies for current
and future hiring needs. Will also provide subject matter expertise
and thought leadership regarding best-in-class recruitment
strategies including core central recruiting policies, labor market
data, recruiting trends, competition, benchmarking, and target
geographies for specific areas of talent.
- Lead global talent acquisition including sourcing, recruitment
delivery, employment branding, diversity, and other employment
activities in a matrix organization
- Achieve alignment and global solutions fit for various business
division requirements.
- Collaborate and support Hiring Manager to select qualified
applicant and achieve placement objectives.
- Achieve efficiencies for best practices and cost (standard key
performance indicators including diversity metrics, interview
process, talent referral programs, headcount approval
process).
- Partner closely with various stakeholders including with HR
Business Partners, global HR functions and business leaders, with
full accountability of all aspects of the recruitment process to
achieve targets.
- Identify and implement effective short and long term sourcing
strategies to meet the evolving business needs including outreach
with technical talent, employment branding, social media, job
aggregators, industry, academic and professional associations.
- Promote a strong, positive Company image by increased
branding.
- Build effective relationships with candidate pools, candidates,
vendors, industry contacts.
- Develop a deep understanding of the businesses to effectively
deliver recruitment activities alongside the talent acquisition
team.
- Establish a robust view of the external environment of
competitors, compensation and other trends to support HR Business
Partners, global HR functions and business leaders.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop competitive
offers that meet position requirements and objectives.
- Develop and deliver regular reporting on recruitment
performance metrics and take necessary action to address any
shortfalls.
- Keep up to date and ensure compliance with employment laws and
regulations
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or
related discipline required.
- HR Certification (HRCI, SHRM, other) required.
- Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years recruiting experience focusing on technical,
scientific, professional, corporate and support positions within
life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry
required. Minimum of 5 years global and regional recruiting
experience required. Experience in a global environment
required.
- Proven track record building and implementing effective and
robust branding and sourcing strategies to attract, screen, and
hire corporate professionals along with engineering, scientific,
and technical talent within the global life sciences industry
required.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and computer
communication and presentation skills, including advanced MS
Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS), branding and social
media proficiency required.
- Demonstrated HR Recruiting Management skill set with strong
working knowledge of additional HR disciplines including Benefits,
Compensation, Information Technology, Diversity, Affirmative
Action, applicable employment laws and regulations required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with
ability to work independently, prioritize, follow through, and meet
deadlines within an entrepreneurial team and customer-focused work
environment required
- A technical systems thinker with solid knowledge of HR
processes and tools: maps processes and user experience, drives
increased use, and optimizes recruiting system capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, global
environment, and build constructive work relationships with all
stakeholders.
- Operates at the highest standards of business ethics, honesty,
and personal integrity.
- Occasional domestic and international travel required.
- Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state
required.
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status
required.
- Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and
international travel.
- May be required to pass security clearance investigation.Bruker
