This role will partner with the BMPM Leadership Team (LT) and partner with other Senior leaders to harmonize departmental goals on their behalf and ensure that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We are looking for an entrepreneurial strategic and operational generalist to join the team to proactively drive and assure the smooth execution of leadership strategic goals, rolling-up to achieve the company's overarching corporate and business strategic objectives. This will create the opportunity to identify challenges, develop solutions, be an integral part of executing critical workflows, and handling the BMPM bandwidth and activities.Support the BMPM Leadership team through a strong cross-functional network and by closely collaborating with stakeholders within Development, Research and Commercial to align key strategy and tacticsContribute to BMPM strategy by identifying the need for discussion of key topics and decision making to support the long-term success of the BMPMLead the coordination and strategic alignment of diverse business activities both internal and externally facingOrganize efficient information flow between project teams and key stakeholders across functions within Research, Development and CommercialProvide decision support through data gathering, information analyzing, and presenting considerations to the Head of BMPM and other executivesAct as a key thought partner and "sounding board"-- - to brainstorm ideas, identify solutions and apply knowledge and expertise to problem solve across a broad range of areasSet-up purposeful agenda for the BMPM LT meetings and assure the right people are involved for discussions and decisionsContribute to the development and implementation of internal initiatives related to communication plans, process improvement, decision making systems or others and establish consistent adherence to those within BMPMMonitor for and identify priorities that require the Head of BMPM or other senior leadership focus; determine priority and the proper course of actionCollaborate with the communications and legal team to develop and implement external facing activities and communications such as presentations, social media postings, press releases, analyst calls, Q&A documents and othersSupport the Head of BMPM and teams in resource allocation and planning in close collaboration with HR, finance and functionsCoordinate key budget elements on BMPM level in collaboration with program teams and financeDrive the OneTeam approach and facilitate open and transparent culture in the BMPMIdentify and share standard methodologies across departmentsCultivate simplicity in the way the department operatesWho you are: You are committed to bringing new therapies to patients in need. Your excellent people skills are the basis for strong leadership potential.Minimum Qualifications:BS degree with 8+ years of experience or MS with 5+ years of experience5+ years direct experience and progressive experience in a project management related disciplineExperience in R&D, drug development, or HealthcareExperience working in the global pharmaceutical industry Position requires both domestic and international travel up to 20% of timePreferred Qualifications:Professional Project Management certification or qualification (e.g. PMI, IPMA) highly desirableMBA and also, a PhD in the life sciences is a strong plus but not requiredPotential for leadership roles in the futurePrevious working experience in cross-functional and international teams, ideally in global drug development teams.Cross-functional knowledge of the Drug Development Process and Drug Development RegulationsKnowledge of and /or experience in project management, spreadsheet and database management software is requiredGood understanding of finance and accounting principles in an industrial settingOutstanding communication (written, verbal and listening) and presentation skillsDemonstration of empathy in an environment of global change with strong orientation to team cultureWhat we offer: With us, there are always opportunities to break new ground.
