Job Description:
Job Summary:The Sr. Oracle SCM Techno Functional is responsible
for all aspects of the Supply Chain/Manufacturing track of Oracle
EBS R12 projects. They must be well versed in best practices from
both a technology and business process perspective. The SCM works
solution development, architecture and management processes from
concept ideation through development, launch and maintenance.
He/she interfaces with business partners to develop and grow
solutions and portfolios of solutions and offerings to increase
productivity. The individual will also apply proven communication
and problem-solving skills to solve issues.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Lead Oracle R12 SCM from a strategy, implementation support,
and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) optimization related to
Information Technology (IT) operations, business processes,
security, and data integrity for the Oracle on premises and
applications
- Full lifecycle knowledge of: order to cash, procure to pay
- Lead the day-to-day activities of Oracle eBusiness Suite
consisting of the manufacturing suite
- Work directly with the users to analyze, create, and support
business solutions
- Assist in the support and ongoing enhancement of the Oracle
E-Business Suite R12
- Work on complex solutions where strong data analysis and
evaluation of business cases
- Test and verify solutions, data mapping and definitions
- Provide technical assistance with troubleshooting by responding
to inquiries and questions
- Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships
across Conformis
- Understand the objectives, responsibilities, and mission of the
Information Technology department and work towards those goals
- Prioritize and plan work activities; adapt for changing
conditions
- Perform project management tasks related to new system
implementations and related system changes. Deliver these solutions
on time and on budget. Prepare and present project status reports
to management and business partners
- Provide documentation, periodic activity reports, and other ad
hoc analysis as required
- Assure that applications remain compliant with all regulatory
and quality requirements
- Create Process flows showing the "as is" versus the "to be" -
identify opportunities for process improvement, document and
execute the identified improvements
- Other responsibilities as assignedQualifications:
- 10+ years as a Business/Functional Analyst in and of the
following functional areas: Inventory, Purchasing, Planning, Bills
of Materials (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Advance Pricing,
Inventory, Order Management (OM), Warehousing and Mobile Supply
Chain (MSCA)
- Hands-on, maintenance, and support experience with the Oracle
EBS modules, tools, and associated components, including
configuration/customization strategies and implementations,
workflows, groups, roles, etc.
- Expertise in programming languages like SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA
- Good knowledge of configuring Descriptive Flexfields (DFF),
Forms Folders, Workflows, Forms and Framework (OAF)
Personalizations,
- Experience with Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) R12 in a
manufacturing environment is required
- Have performed as a liaison between business teams and IT
- Ability to coordinate tasks amongst a small team
- Facilitate and lead meetings with all levels of internal and
external personnel
- Communicate articulately with business and technical
personnel
- Create clear, complete and concise documents and analytical
instruments including: BP, RD, BR, MD, TE, TID
- Completion of at least 1 full lifecycle Oracle EBS R12
implementation
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited
college/university
- Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write
at a publication quality level
- Detailed understanding of Oracle ERP System concepts and
general module functionality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills within a
business and/or technical context, particularly with translating
customer requirements into technical solutions.Skills, Abilities,
