Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a revolutionary Medical Device company to identify a Payroll and Commissions Administrator join their team. This role is remote through mid-2022 then will transition to hybrid. Highlights of the Payroll and Commissions Administrator opportunity: Established nearly 15 years ago, our client is a publicly traded medical device company focused on advancing the science of precision health. Since the launch of their medical device in 2013, their revenue has grown each year and it more than doubled from FY 2019 to FY 2020. This increase is due to their response to the pandemic crisis as well as advancements with Alzheimer's therapies. Highly entrepreneurial/fast-paced environment with unlimited visibility to executive management. I have worked with the company since the early days and have assisted with the build-out of the team. The individuals whom I have placed are still with the company and have been promoted. Due to the size of the company, this role will have the ability to wear multiple hats and be exposed to challenging and exciting work that you may not see in a larger company. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Payroll, the Payroll and Commissions Administrator's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare commission statements and reports for all commissionable employees. Calculate quarterly sales commission payouts under numerous commissions plans for US and Global employees Ensure compliance of commissions accounting Assist in the process & review of bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including special payments such as terminations, bonus and commission payments and leave of absences, etc. as needed Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables primarily relating to commissions, payroll, and equity (journal entries, reconciliations, reports), ensuring compliance with relevant SOX controls Manage day-to-day administration of the equity program including accurate and timely recording of new equity awards, exercises, new hires, terminations and releases for all employees and other equity holders Assist with ESPP enrollment and purchases, ensuring compliance with ESPP program Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business related field required, accounting preferred Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in accounting, including experience calculating commissions Strong Excel skills required (e.g., Pivot Table & VLOOKUP experience) and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data Experience working with third party stock administration platform
