Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Salem, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,599 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP, EFM (every 2 years for Labor and Delivery) Must-Have: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, and Newborn Care skills Description: The position involves working in a Labor and Delivery and Postpartum unit. The unit consists of 25 beds, encompassing Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care. It includes 2 operating rooms and 2 recovery rooms. The clinician to patient ratio for Labor and Delivery is 1:2-3 for evaluations, and 1:1 for active labor, magnesium gtt, or epidural. For Postpartum, the ratio is 1:3-4. The average daily census ranges between 15-25 mothers, babies, and labors. The charting system used is EPIC. Floating is not required for this role. This is primarily a day position that includes rotation to evenings and nights as needed. Additional certifications such as ACLS are preferred.
