patient-centered care. This role involves assisting in the delivery
of occupational therapy services under the supervision of a
licensed occupational therapist, helping patients regain function
and mobility after surgery, injury, or illness. Implementing
therapeutic plans and following guidelines set by the licensed
occupational therapist. Assisting patients in performing specific
exercises and activities as part of their intervention plans.
Documenting patient response to treatment and communicating this
effectively with the rehabilitation team. Preparing equipment and
treatment areas for occupational therapy sessions. Educating
patients and families about home programs and discharge planning.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with
a strong sense of compassion. Ability to follow detailed
instructions and therapy plans with high precision. Proficient in
using therapy equipment and monitoring patient progress. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid state
certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
CPR certification preferred.
