The Travel LPN provides direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or physicians while adapting quickly to new clinical environments. Key Responsibilities Provide basic nursing care and monitor patient health. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians. Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and medical treatments. Support patients with daily living activities including bathing, feeding, and mobility. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Communicate patient status updates to physicians and Registered Nurses. Follow healthcare facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards. Adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, and clinical workflows during travel assignments. Required Qualifications Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing from an accredited nursing program. Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state(s) of assignment. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience as an LPN (travel experience preferred). Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities. Required Skills Strong patient care and clinical support skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new work environments. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to work under supervision and follow care plans accurately.
