Job Description:
Catholic Medical Center, a leader in healthcare services, is
seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Extern for our Cardiac
Medical Telemetry Unit. This position offers a dynamic environment

specializes in monitoring patients with acute cardiac conditions,
ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care. As a Nurse
Extern, you will have the opportunity to support our mission of
enhancing community health through tailored patient care and
comprehensive medical services. Assist nursing staff with patient
care activities in the telemetry unit Monitor patient vital signs
and report any critical changes to the primary nurse Provide direct
patient care as instructed, including but not limited to, dressing
wounds, administering medications, and preparing patients for
examinations Record patient activities and medical history as
required Participate in ward rounds with supervising medical staff
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the patient areas Support the
telemetry unit staff in managing emergency situations Strong
communication skills Ability to monitor and understand telemetry
equipment Basic understanding of cardiac care procedures High
attention to detail Capability to perform under stress in emergency

Insurance 401k Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred or
required within the first three months of employment
