Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Manchester, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,364 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Cardiac telemetry knowledge. ACLS certification. Knowledge and skill set for cardiac medical and procedural patients. Experience with cardiac drips. Description: The unit has 23 beds and one treatment room. There are 58 staff members on the unit. Staffing includes a Charge Nurse and six RNs on the day shift, and a Charge Nurse and five RNs on the night shift. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring, vein finders, portable pulse oximetry, and vital sign machines. The electronic medical record system is Allscripts with medication scanning capabilities. The patient population includes hemodynamically stable myocardial infarction, acute/chronic heart failure, new onset atrial fibrillation, and stable dysrhythmias. Procedural patients include cardiac catheterizations without interventions, ablations, and cardioversions. Patients requiring cardiac drips, including Amiodarone and Diltiazem, will be treated on this unit. Additional patient populations include ICU transfers and patients requiring BiPAP or high-flow therapy. The ideal candidate is engaging, team-oriented, flexible, adaptable, and patient-centered.
