8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Permanent (Full Time)
Pay Rate: $37.35 - $57.74/hourly. Summary: We are seeking a
licensed occupational therapist to join our growing team of medical
professionals. You will be working with patients who are recovering
from injuries and disabilities and help them regain their abilities
so that they can resume work. Duties will include conducting a
physical assessment of clients, developing treatment plans,
assessing work and home environments of clients, and developing
physical rehabilitation programs. Responsibilities: Administers
treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring
physician in an eff ort to restore function and preventdisability
following injury, disease or physical disability. Formulates a
teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluates
effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching, as
appropriate.Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and
level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of
their capabilities. Observes and evaluates treatment affect.
Recommends change to physician, if needed. Performs an appropriate
evaluation and assessment on each patient, as related to the
therapy requested and provided and reassessments, as per policy.
This may include pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and
the general patient population. Able to assess patient pain
interfering with optimal level of function or participation in
rehabilitation - makes appropriate physician contact for
intervention. Requirements Requirements: BLS Certification
Required. Licensed Occupational Therapist with NH eligibility.
Required. Graduate from an accredited school of Occupational
Therapy or equivalent. Required. Experience in providing
Occupational Therapy within the outpatient setting. Strongly
