Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Psychiatric Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11.5 hours Hours per Shift: 19:00-07:00 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid nursing license Certifications: CPI Training required Must-Have: - Experience with IEA/Involuntary status - Experience with higher acuity patients - Restraint Chair experience preferred - EPIC experience Description: Inpatient Adult/Pediatric Psychiatric need. Must be comfortable with both age groups. Patient-centered care driven. Nursing ratios are 1:6-7. Schedules are typically planned out 4-6 weeks in advance. Performs general or specialized nursing duties under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Responsible for the care and treatment of residents. Utilizes the nursing process to administer medication and medical treatment. Engages in comprehensive treatment planning with a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Upholds the vision and mission of the agency through effective nursing practice. Utilizes Practice Model theories, beliefs, and principles in daily practice.
