Unit Summary:
The PCU is -a 36-bed unit for telemetry, step down, or intermediate level of care. Patients requiring peritoneal and hemodialysis, cardiac catheterizations, pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillator placement, post-operative monitoring, and -interventional radiology may be placed on PCU. Patient can be on high flow oxygen, Bi-pap ventilation, and continuous cardiac Intravenous medications. Hours: 36 hours per week, Evening/Night shifts, every third weekend

A minimum of 1-2 years in hospital setting is preferred
Associate's degree in nursing may be considered. Clinical Advancement Program -which provides advancement opportunities and financial rewards -
