• Short Term and Long-Term Disability coverageJob DetailsWe are looking to hire a talented RN who has earned their BSN Degree with an active BLS and Massachusetts RN license and comes with experience in Infectious Diseases. In this rewarding role, you will provide screening, treatment, and follow-up related to HIV, Hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections (STI). The RN will collaborate closely with Director of Integrated Care Management and Medical Director to keep STI standing orders updated and will also work collaboratively with Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) in reporting all resultsProvide overdose prevention training to community members. Requirements Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
  • Review lab results and assist in plan of care
  • Provide STI treatment within the guidelines of agency standing orders
  • Provide STI screening including oral and rectal swabs
  • Elicit health histories related to sexual activity
  • Triage patients with suspected STI's
  • Collaborate with medical providers in the treatment and follow-up of patients who have tested positive for STI's
  • Complete all required STI case reporting
  • Provide primary nursing care and adherence support for patients living with HIV
