During tax season, your required hours are significantly less than the larger firms which allows the team to complete work within a reasonable schedule and still be able to spend quality time with family and friends.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate client meetings and manage the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns.
  
• Review staff prepared individual, corporate, and partnership federal and state income tax returns.
  
• Assign work to staff members on the basis of their knowledge and capabilities.
  
• Ensure accurate, timely filing of federal and state income tax returns and other individual and business-related filings.
  
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
  
• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
  
• Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in firm's tax and accounting services.
  
• Mentor FT staff members and seasonal staff to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.
  
• Ability to enhance existing client relationships and actively seek to develop new relationships with potential clients and referral sources that would be beneficial to the firm.

  Qualifications: 6+years of experience in public accounting, Proficiency in tax preparation, Thorough knowledge of accounting services, Payroll and QuickBooks Online, Strong organizational skills.
