Searching for a High Energy, Strong QUALITY Leader with proven success in building and transforming teams! ?Background in SIX SIGMA Operational Excellence-Black Belt Preferred.CONTACT US to learn moreOverview:--The Quality Manager is responsible for the quality of products supplied by our client's facility in Tewksbury, MA. Primary duties are focused on the Quality Management System and Quality Operations related to QMS development and integration, Supplier Quality, Design Quality, Manufacturing Quality, and Field Quality. This position will lead the activities of the Quality organization by prioritizing objectives, managing, leading and mentoring the onsite quality staff.Responsibilities:Responsible for and acts as the Management Representative during any external audits, ensuring compliance to ISO 9001:2015Implement an electronic QMS system and ensure all modules are trained, executed, and reported onEstablish a Quality culture in the facilityAssist with the implementation of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)Ensure proper approval and documentation practices are followed for any process, material or tooling changes at the siteDevelop, implement, and communicate the facility Quality Dashboard (KPIs)Lead by Example: Setting continuous-improvement driven mentality and solid quality culture for the organizationEstablish and drive cultural standards of Quality, Service, Safety, Performance and TeamworkCollaborate with the site team to insure proper complaints handling, investigations, and surveysDevelop, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance systems and activities, to include MSAs, SPC, Quality Plans, and FMEAsPlans, develops, promotes and maintains training programs that improve the skills of employees to identify, record and track product/process nonconformities and implement appropriate corrective actionResponsible for developing and communicating data analysis using statistical techniques on product defects, quality issues, and manufacturing performance, with plans for improvementResponsible for the inspection and product testing procedures to ensure consistent methods throughout the facility.Works with the Operations leadership to coordinate manufacturing and QA activities to ensure accurate staffing coverage and maintain quality levelsPartner with site leadership to implement and lead effective process control improvement activities through the monitoring of metrics, the development and completion of initiatives, and auditing as required to assure that quality requirements are met.Create, review and revise quality policies and procedures to ensure effectivenessAnalyze non-conformance and other production data to identify and prioritize CAPA opportunities or specification and/or process improvements.Act as the main quality partner in development programs, setting the quality requirements to assure new product introduction (NPI) processes and concurrent engineering methods are robust resulting in minimum time to market and high quality product launch.Assure that issues potentially affecting product quality/compliance are brought to the attention of Senior Management.Must be able to interact and establish relationships with various departments and customersParticipate in annual Quality, PPI, and/or Supplier forumsRequirements:--BA/BS degree in Engineering, Quality and/or related technical degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in quality roles with proven results demonstrating bottom-line performance impact.Must have successfully led teams in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated people management and employee development skills for direct and indirect reports in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.Six Sigma (Black Belt) or Lean certification or training preferredMechanical Assembly and test experience preferredExpert knowledge in ISO9001:2015 and industry specific standards.Strong critical thinking skills with attention to detailProven leadership skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization;Knowledge and experience with FMEAs, DOEs, Process Mapping
