Job Description:Position Description:Builds automation pipelines leveraging Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Maven, GIT/Stash, Jenkins, Artifactory, and uDeploy. Implements process improvements using Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile and Scrum). Enhances data engineering components utilizing database tools SQL and PL/SQL. Develops front-end, middle-tier, and back-end technologies including JAVA, Angular 8+, Spring Framework, Oracle, and REST APIs. Programs in ksh and Bash scripting languages.Primary Responsibilities:

• Participates in architecture and feature design.
• Defines and implements application-level architecture.
• Develops applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
• Recommends development/testing tools and methodologies to review and validate test plans.
• Ensures QA readiness of software deliverables.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
• Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
• Ensures project goals are met on-time and on-budget.
• Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
• Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues.
• Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
• Advises senior management on technical strategy.
• Mentors junior team members.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, with five (5) years of experience as a Principal Full Stack Engineer or similar role, designing, implementing, and supporting web applications, APIs, and data pipelines using Java, Spring, Oracle, and Angular in a financial services domain.Or, a Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in the same fields with three (3) years of relevant experience.Skills and Knowledge:Candidate must possess:

• Expertise in designing, implementing, and testing middleware or APIs using Java or Python, Spring, and SQL (Oracle) within a cloud environment (AWS); experience with automated testing (Cucumber) and deployment in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Experience in designing, implementing, testing, and optimizing front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React).
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance (Oracle).
• Experience in writing technical design documentation, testing, deploying, and maintaining software in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.Certifications:Category:Information TechnologyFidelity's hybrid working model combines onsite and offsite work. Onsite work is important for our business strategy and culture. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (Monday to Friday) in a Fidelity office.
