Development group is seeking an experienced Equipment Design
Engineer to join our dynamic, innovative, and collaborative team
and to contribute on improving our contamination control products
within the Wet Etch and Cleans segment of the high-tech and fast
paced semiconductor industry. We are seeking someone to focus
primarily on designing and evaluating new tools and processes aimed
at expanding and improving our liquid filtration and purification
solutions for aggressive and dilute chemistry applications.In this
role you will
- Design and commissioning (FAT & SAT) of new, advanced equipment
to support new processes
- Responsible for justification, submittal/approval, and tracking
of capital projects
- Drive implementation of efficiency improvements for existing
tools and processes
- Establish equipment and standard procedures to allow
engineering team to assess product performance
- Identify and evaluate new or modified processes/equipment to
meet or exceed new product cleanliness requirements
- Design of experiment and statistical analysis to make data
driven decisions around implementation of new processes
- Support new product introduction through serving as a technical
member on assigned product development projects. Often serve as
project and technical lead for assigned projects.
- Support the pre-pilot production of new products and alpha
samples to key customers
- Work with Applications Engineering and Product
Managers/Marketing to generate detailed reports, data packages and
technical papers to support the performance of new products.
- Act as a technical resource for other team members to provide
understanding and background on tool design and previously
developed processes and to troubleshoot equipment issues.Traits we
believe make a strong candidate
- A minimum of 5 years of work-related experience in equipment
design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering,
Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of project leadership in equipment design
and commissioning
- Substantial hands-on experience in lab and manufacturing
environments
- In depth understanding of process flow diagrams, piping &
instrumentation drawings, and valve state tables for recipe
control
- General working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and
Process Control
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks proficiency is a plus
- Knowledge of cleanroom requirements, cGMPs and Lean
Manufacturing a plus
- Statistical training with demonstrated usage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skillsYour success
