Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized
contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide ESY services for the summer session, located in
Ludlow, MA. This role supports the Compass High Program at Ludlow
High School, serving high school students with Autism Spectrum
Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The program
emphasizes personalized and supportive education outside the
traditional classroom to foster skills toward independence. Key
Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy for high school
students, focusing on communication needs within the Compass High
Program Deliver AAC-related service support; direct AAC evaluations
are not required Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to
align therapy goals with individualized education plans Maintain
accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and
program requirements Participate in a schedule of 15-20 hours per
week, working 2-3 days during the ESY session from July 6, 2026, to
August 7, 2026 Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure
as a School Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical
Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required Experience working with high
school students, especially those with ASD or other learning
differences Familiarity with AAC service provision and
communication strategies for students with complex needs Strong
interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team Location: Ludlow, MA (assignment at Ludlow
High School; clients main office in West Springfield) This role
offers a valuable opportunity to support a dynamic program focused
on empowering students with specialized needs. Therapists
demonstrating excellent performance may be considered for renewal
in the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates are encouraged
